weathered the Great Depression despite three years with sales of less than
$1,000. Introduced (through Bethlehem Steel) the WF beam to St. Louis. |

1940's |
We
proudly served our country during World War II by fabricating bulkheads for
amphibious landing crafts. |

1950's |
Atlas focused primarily on
commercial projects through local general contractors. Contracts were
entered into via a handshake. |

1960's |
We
expanded our capabilities and products to serve the industrial market. |

1970's |
We
were one of the first fabricators in St. Louis to install automated beam
punching equipment. |

1980's |
Atlas ventured into the design
and manufacturing of custom structural steel mezzanines. |

1990's |
We
updated our fabricating equipment to state of the art CNC operation. We
also witnessed a tripling in business volume. |

Atlas became certified by the
AISC for steel building structures |
